A couple years ago, I was working 50 to 60 hours per week at a corporate job. As far as jobs go, it was okay, and it paid the bills.
However, I'd wake up each morning a bit frantic, always in a big rush to get out the door. Half the time I didn't even have a chance to eat breakfast.
Then I was stuck in rush-hour traffic for 30-40 minutes, and got to work sleepy-headed and unmotivated.
I'd drink what must have been a whole pot of coffee just to get myself going.
Come lunch-time I would typically grab fast food and half the time I just ate lunch at my desk.
After nine to ten hours staring at a computer screen, I'd go face bad traffic once again for the long drive home.
When I got home, I was exhausted. I would eat my dinner and then watch TV or pop in a movie, just to go to bed and repeat the process.
I Was Always Tired, and Never Had Any Free Time...
As time went on, this wore me out. During the week I was always too tired to do anything and I was always thinking about the weekend so I could just get a break.
Then my employer started experiencing financial difficulties. They laid off several of my coworkers and cut the remaining employees' salaries by 20%.
Not only was I getting burned out working so much in the first place, but now I had to take on additional responsibilities while making less money to boot!
Between having no energy, gaining weight, and earning less money by living the "corporate lifestyle", I started getting really fed up with my situation.

I decided, why bother looking for a new job. I didn't need one. I had enough money coming in to not only pay my bills but have extra left over.
Fast forward to now, after learning and applying the secrets I learned about power blogging, my entire life is different.

I now get lots of rest each night. I wake up relaxed - usually around 9am and take it easy for the first couple hours. I eat a full and healthy breakfast, and I do a bit of exercise.
From 11am to 1pm I work on my blogging, then take a full hour for lunch. Then I get back to work around 2pm and call it a day at 4pm.
No longer am I in a rush. I can relax, and enjoy what I do. Each month I make 30-50% more than I used to working 60 hours a week!
Now I have time do hang out with my friends, to read books, to tackle my hobbies, and to just live life worry-free.
